The USA Spirits Ratings, a well-known competition that judges the world’s best spirits, has announced its 2024 winners. Among them, the Indian single malt, Indri, has taken the spotlight. This annual event celebrates excellence in the spirits industry, recognizing the finest products from around the globe. Indri Single Malt was named Whisky of the Year, showcasing the growing global recognition of Indian whiskies.
Siddhartha Sharma, Promoter of Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, shared the vision behind Indri. He explained, “Our goal was to create an Indian single malt whisky that could stand out on the global stage. Indri was inspired by India’s rich heritage and diverse natural landscapes, blended with a modern approach to whisky-making. We wanted to craft a whisky that’s unique in taste and sets a new benchmark for Indian spirits, appealing to both experienced whisky lovers and a new generation of drinkers.”
