Pavitra Walvekar was happy with his well-paying job in San Francisco. As a credit manager at Wells Fargo, he performed so well that the company offered him a scholarship to pursue an MBA. However, Pavitra had dreams of starting his own business, so he decided to give up both the scholarship and his job, and in 2007, he returned to his hometown, Pune.
Unfortunately, his first business venture—an online education platform for SAT students—didn't succeed. But in 2009, Pavitra saw a financial struggle among manufacturers who had orders from big companies like Mercedes and Volkswagen. That’s when the idea for Kudos Finance & Investments came to him.
