The work-from-home (WFH) culture has grown rapidly in recent years, thanks to advances in technology and changing views on work. With digital tools and platforms widely available, employees can now do their jobs from almost anywhere with an internet connection. “This flexibility has not only given workers more control but has also allowed businesses to reach talent beyond their local areas,” says Pavitra Pradip Walvekar.
Recent surveys show that a large part of the global workforce now prefers remote work, with many choosing a hybrid or fully remote setup.
A study by IJCRT predicts that by 2025, 32.6 million Americans will be working remotely. In India, the number is expected to be between 60 million and 90 million. A survey by Indeed found that 71 percent of Indian job seekers prioritize flexibility when looking for jobs. They want the option to work from home and set their own hours, appreciating the positive effects this has on work-life balance and productivity.
